“Food was amazing! The salsa was fresh, loaded with cilantro and onions. The tortilla chips - crisp and delicious. I ordered the Mexican Style Tacos dinner (was the daily special at $8.99) not knowing what to expect. The food came out very quickly. The plate had 3 HUGE steak tacos on what tasted like home-made corn tortillas smothered in grilled onions and topped with fresh avocado slices. The tacos were served with a ramekin of fresh made sauce with LOTS of heat and chunks of fresh ground peppers. The dish also came with a side of rice and beans. The service was very friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a change from the local Tex-Mex style restaurants with a fresh twist, this place is a must try! Will definitely be returning!!!! Definitely 10 out of 5 stars!!!”

“Me and my wife had a very good lunch here, the waitress was extremely nice and helpful and the food was freshly cooked and hot. This is the first time we have stopped at a pizza hut in years but we were not disappointed the food was really good and the price was very low for two people. “Craving for some southern food, I recently visit Ms. Pete's Cafe. There I was welcomed by the smell of Smoked Chicken and Pulled Pork. I immediately headed for the serving line where the staff on hand eagerly awaited to serve me. The freshly made sides such as homemade coleslaw, corn cob, collard greens, and potato salad were an excellent complement to the meat servings. However, the people and the ambiance of the place took it to another level inside their quaintly decorated dining area. There is plenty of space to sit for small groups or a large gathering with family and friends. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal during my visit, and the place was immaculately clean. The owner (Chef Lacita Mason) was on-hand during my visit and shared that she got the inspiration to open this place from her grandmother Ms. Pete. I will certainly recommend them if you are looking for something different to eat, accompanied by great conversation and that southern hospitality that is hard to find these days. “New 3 star review: I'm updating my review because over this last year I have noticed the toppings are less and less. To the point it could barely be called a topping. They have increased their prices on top of it so now I'm spending more on even less. At this point price for quality is mediocre and I'll be eating here a lot less. Former 5 star review: This is hands down my favorite pizza place out of anywhere I have ever lived. The sauce is rich and flavorful, the crust is soft and lightly sweet. They know how to top a pizza and having AMAZING prices, especially if you do the pick up specials or web specials. We have been ordering pizza for a year and a half from this location and only 1 time have we ever had an error in an order. I cannot say anything bad about this place. The best ever.”

“Visited this establishment for the first time after driving by it many times. I was always concerned because it was not very inviting. I am glad i tried it. Plenty of parking. Place was clean and bright. Not much for decor but there is more than enough seating. It is an older building but again it was clean. Greeted as soon as i walked in. Nice big menu with prices. Not alot of menu options but enough different ones to satisfy all member of your family/group. Prices were decent. Food portions were just right. I did not finish all my fries. I ordered the Gyro and fries. Food was good. Service was good. Order was made fast. I will return and try different items.”

“Communication is a big problem with this place. They have a menu that states things one way but when you call to place an order they state things a different way. Then as we try and verify the order is right because of how they say the sizes and stuff are different than the menu states it, we can't get the clarification. Also most often the person on the phone doesn't seem to understand English which makes the process that much harder. The other negative about this place is that if we ask for rice with extra of a specific vegetable, they charge us for the difference (which is okay) but only once have done rice the way we paid for. Other than that, the food is always ready quickly, priced decently, and is typically pretty good.”
