Excellent food! Awesome service! But the absolute highlight was our hostess. She Is from the town going back generations. We left learning the great history of the restaurant and town. Plus she is a great story teller and had us laughing a lot. This was the highlight of our trip to Nashville. Well worth the drive and would definitely do it again. Everyone was very nice and you could tell loved there job!

I can’t even begin to describe how perfect this food was. Everything was beyond delicious and our hostess was delightful. I highly recommend stopping here for a memorable meal.

Such a fun dining experience! This was family style dinner set in an old historic home. The food was just like sitting at mommas (I'm from the south). We had fried chicken, roast, fried okra, Macaroni and cheese casserole, homemade mashed potatoes, baked apples, green beans and a roll. Honestly, I thought it was better than chain restaurant southern cooking. While we ate, we had a "hostess" who told us the story of the old home and really became a "hostess", introduced everyone and got everyone chatting about dinner. Everything was doused with a good touch of southern charm as well! Definitely worth stopping in!

Delicious southern comfort food. Family style dining experience where you take a serving and pass to the left. The day I went the meats were chicken and meat loaf which were good. The sides included tipsy fried apples which were fabulous. They also used the local product in the whipped cream on the pecan pie.
