Persis Indian Grill

The appetizer was pretty filling, I think it was called Gobi 555. Fried cauliflower. I'll probably get that every time I go it was so good. Nice people, clean inside, and no stink eye from them as my two young children acted up the entire time. Everything I got came loaded with cilantro; keep that in mind if you hate the stuff. Will be back.

Amazing friendly service! Food was great! Not spicy enough to begin with but they fixed it immediately and jacked up the heat to where I wanted it. One of my favorite restaurants.

First time here today. Loved it. The food was delicious and the staff is very friendly. I love the atmosphere. My boyfriend's favorite place to eat. You can tell love is put into the food.

A manager has always checked to see if I had any questions at the bar. The price is very reasonable, and the dining room has a light atmosphere. I enjoyed the food, but dont know enough to compare it to anything. There's a lot of flavor, but nothing was unbearably hot.

We saw this Indian restaurant many times when we drove around. We were very apprehensive but decided one day we would just give it a try. We actually loved it. I have had other Indian foods so I could compare it from other larger cities. I would not rank Persis at #1 of all the Indian food I have tried but still very good especially for Cookeville. The things I did like were; food tasted delicious, good portion size and reasonably priced. We will keep coming. Lastly, the owner was very nice.
