Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

The classic chicken sandwich is really, really good. Tender meaty chicken fillet and pickles between a bun with a little crunch when you bite into it. Service at this place is good. Cleanliness of the common area was good. The restroom was dirty and it was kinda gross watching a couple make out in front of while they try to place an order. Nevertheless, the sandwich was extraordinary.

We had a Popeyes here many years ago and I used to go there a lot. I was aggravated when it closed up. When I heard that they were coming back, I was looking forward to it.
I have been there twice now, for carry out. I have to admit I am a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it is good, but it doesn't seem to be as good as it was before. One thing is I like spicy food but this, at least to me, has very little heat to it. Also, their sides are really small and they do not offer Gumbo or onion rings like they show on the web site.
I am sure I will be back, but probably not as often as before.
The last thing I would like to mention is that the ones that have taken my order have been very nice.

I'm so happy we finally got a Popeyes in our city. I simply love their spicy chicken, although my daughter loves their original chicken, and I love that you can get your chicken mixed with both original and spicy. They have amazing sides, and I love their cinnamon apple pies!!! Their prices are reasonable, and you can order for yourself or your family with their family meals. Each meal comes with sides, and biscuits. I love their hot sauce, and of course butter, and honey for my biscuits. You simply have to ask for the hot sauce, butter and ????, and they put it in your bag. They'll even give you plastic forks, and knife's. And their smiling super friendly employees keep me coming back for more.
