Roane Street Grill

I am truly impressed with my experience at the RSG this past week. The staff sure does make their customers feel like family. I ordered the Fried Gizzards that came with two sides(I chose turnip greens, fried green tomatoes) with roll or cornbread (the cornbread was delicious). Based on a unrelated previous experience, I thought gizzards were too chewy to be enjoyed. At RSG, they cook the gizzards in a pressure cooker, which makes all the difference. Everything tasted amazing and it was more than affordable!

We had the best lunch! All the seafood is hand-breaded with their secret recipe. Everything was delicious- including the hamburgers and bar-b-q. It was very well- priced as well. Brittany was the best server- and the owner comes by the table to check in as well. We will definitely be back!

We aren’t from the area, so we rely on Google, Yelp and word of mouth. This was a GREAT find, thanks to Google Maps. Our waitress was pleasant from the time we walked through the door. My husband had the buffet and I chose the pork chops, one grilled, one fried. Holy mother of pork chops, those were huge and good. The buffet was plentiful with a lot of options. Everything was freshly made, the peach cobbler was divine and the sweet tea, pure perfection! Owner stopped by our table to say hello and share some of his fishing adventure stories. Again, great little place!

!!The Patty Melt was one of the best I've ever had. The fries were crunchy on the outside and soft inside, yummy. Hubs had the country fried steak. It was HUGE! Sides were delicious! The 7 Sin Cake was amazing. Highly recommend this place for home style food.
