Golly G's Coffee, Ice Cream & Sweets - Greenbrier

Mint Chocolate Chip absolutely delicious.

We love this place, but be prepared if your getting a coffee it takes awhile. Sugar free Carmel latte is great!? Keto Blondie is excellent if you like Walnuts ? Everyone is friendly. Great addition to Greenbrier.

Giving 3 stars as I’ve only been once and want to give them the benefit of the doubt. (Note: I’ve only had the ice cream. Haven’t tried anything else yet)

I ordered a scoop of the strawberry cheesecake in a waffle cone. I was given a single scoop in a cup instead (they were busy so not a big deal). The ice cream itself was sub par. It tasted like vanilla ice cream mixed with strawberry ice cream and didn’t have any Cheesecake or strawberry chunks. Frankly I’ve had better (and cheaper) ice cream from the grocery store.

Long story short: don’t get the strawberry cheesecake ice cream.

YUM! Need I say more? My husband and i have dedicated this our date night destination. Their banana pudding shake and coffee shakes are amazing. Being able to put a shot of espresso in your shake makes the coffee one PERFECT! The bitter and the sweet balance out so well. I've never seen any other place provide that option.

I got to admit, I was skeptical of all the hype about this place. But I finally went there today.

I got a couple of their fresh baked cinnamon rolls, and I got to say it was really really good. Not quite freshly made in the Black
Forest of Germany good, but definitely Smoky mountains good.
Going to go back and try the ice cream later.

And you definitely get a lot of cinnamon roll, these things were bigger than my fist.

One thing that was slightly detrimental that I didn't rate in my review, was the staff, as I went through the drive-thru, I didn't have that much interaction.
That being said, the lady at the drive thru was not friendly at all. When it was my turn at the window, she just kind of stared at me for awkward amount of time, never asked what I wanted or if she could help me. So after about 30 seconds of awkward silence, I just told her what I wanted. The only words she spoke to me were "Your total is $9.42" and "Would You like to leave a tip on the card"
And that was it, she handed me the cinnamon rolls, then turned and walked away.
Maybe she was having a bad day ??‍♂️
