I visited Arisu Korean BBQ & Tofu, the place is bright and very welcoming. This was a late lunch so they weren’t very busy, I was seated and my server got me some water and a beer. The menu has a lot of the standard Korean dishes along with some specialty items. I started with some Fried Dumplings and the Beef Bulgogi with white rice.

The fried dumplings are good and the sauce provided was nice and light. The Bulgogi meat is marinated for 48 hours and I believe it is a variety of cuts of beef. I really enjoyed is the gentle sweetness of the beef with a very slight salty flavor. I enjoyed the various Bachan plates, they were a nice addition to the Bulgogi dish…especially the sweet shaved radish and marinated broccoli. You experience a wealth of flavors (sweet, sour, bitter, spicy, earthy, etc.) with the Bulgogi and Bachan plates. Bottom line…the food and service here is exceptional. You can have them cook, you cook, or even have a cooking party.

No doubt I left with a satisfied heart, a full stomach, and a smile.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Kee…I could tell she is very proud of this place and really enjoys interacting with the customers. She told me they are staying true to Korean recipes and her Aunt is in the kitchen. Love the “family” feel of the place and can’t wait to try some of the other dishes like the Beef Short Rib or Korean Dumpling soups.

We had dinner there the other day and we thought it was a really good experience overall! Place is clean and we like what they served the food on, the dinning ware , the stone plates etc. I ordered seafood soup/ LA galbi combo and my wife ordered vegetarian bibimbap. We also order their corn with cheese and steamed eggs. We liked the food and we overheard that the chef makes their banchan in house. I’m hoping they will serve seaweed soon though🙏🏻 our server was very friendly and knows the menu pretty well. Definitely should come to visit!

Okay so let me start off I cannot say enough about the hospitality from the staff from everyone there.
First trip was amazing second trip just as good our third trip there was almost magical.
From the owner to the management and waitress staff everyone there was extremely hospitable explaining everything sharing even helping us to cook the food at our table.
I can't express how comfortable and welcoming they made us feel.
My 9-year-old daughter tried everything from the kimchi to the asparagus she may not have liked it but she tried it and it was because of the atmosphere.
The last thing we had was combo D which it says it serves 2 to 3 people that's a lie it definitely serves maybe 4 or even 5.
I do recommend please try the pickled Ratish wraps it sounds horrible but they're actually quite refreshing and delicious.
    Very unexpected

Just one thing if you don't understand the menu or know what to order just ask tell them what you like and see what they recommend
    Good luck and enjoy

And thank you to everyone who made our dinner special

Wonderful business with super friendly and polite staff and owners! Meats are tender and deliciously marinated. Price may seem high but the quality is very much there, and very comparable to other Korean BBQ locations in the Middle Tennessee area. A must visit whether you're new to Korean food or experienced with it.

The girlfriend and I had an amazing time at Arisu. The waitress was super engaged and actually excited about the food and offered suggestions. We were curious about a couple of dishes, and even the owner came by and spoke with us. The owner is super sweet. We felt like we were part of the family. I got the spicy beef cold noodles. My girlfriend got the doesn't bibimbap. Both dishes were really good. Dishes were served with little side dishes of kimchi, spicy radish, kelp salad, and a fish thing that's actually tofu. I'm looking forward to summer and trying the cold broth noodles!
