Great food! Better than the average national chain fast foods. Fresh ingredients with nice employees.
So so good! We did the chicken bacon ranch, Chipotle chicken, and the Cuban guy and everything was so delicious!
Under NEW management! The cashier was super nice and helpful. Ask about the secret menu.
Ordered the no meat option on the arepa - it was super yummy and totally appreciated a vegetarian option in smoked meat city! Other people had the Rick and they loved it. We also ordered the elote in a cup which was okay we usually get it on the cob but wanted to try something new. Definitely would recommend a pop in if you are a local.
This little shop is a real gem. Their Tortas and other Venezuelan treats might almost make you forget about the delicious sandwiches and soups. Couple this with very friendly service and a quaint, clean restaurant, and you’ve got a phenomenal sandwich shop!
My family stopped here on a road trip and we got to try 7 or 8 menu items, and all were so good I’m sure the whole menu is excellent. I only wish we could come here more!
I will definitely be returning to this this grilled sandwich shop, which is run by a Venezuelan family. What this joint lacks in atmosphere, it more than makes up for in food quality.
The bacon chicken ranch grilled sandwich with Cuban bread was packed with meat and veggies and cooked to the perfect temperature. I think I would have just added more ranch to it. Instead, I ate one half with their red bell pepper sauce. The bell pepper flavor comes through clean and clear. A really delightful sauce for these sandwiches. It’s creamy and slightly sweet. The white cream sauce has cilantro and is mayo-based m, I believe. Also, very good, but I preferred the red bell pepper sauce.
They offered us complimentary arepas (a fried cornbread like patty). Although, this was my first experience eating arepas, I imagine they were well made. They were much like Southern white cornbread, but moister in texture. They were warm and soft bites that paired well with the white cream sauce served with them.
They do not make their own ice cream here, but the ice cream that they serve has a fluffy and creamy texture. They keep it chilled at the perfect temperature. My husband, toddler, and I shared their largest size.
