At 2650 St. Andrews, you will find this gem of a Mexican restaurant (in the Publix shopping plaza), in a city with plenty of Mexican restaurants to choose from. Portions and prices are good, food is well presented and flavorful. The 32oz mugs of ice cold beer for $3.89 are hard to beat. Atmosphere is appealing, and quiet as compared to a few other establishments in the area. Service is good, maybe just a tad slow, but still acceptable. Have been here three times over three weeks, and food, portions, and service has been consistent.

For a SoCal boy in his mid-40s, this place hits the spot. The chilaquiles is fantastic and it was made to my exact specifications (fresh grilled jalapenos added). The staff were very attentive with drink and chip/salsa refills. The prices are extremely reasonable. The whiskey margarita is a must try for those who do not like tequila. If your typical Mexican food order is a burrito with beans, I recommend stepping out for something more exotic like the molcajete (bring your appetite with extra room in your belly). I would add an extra star if I could.
