The food was quite the delight! The fried chicken was the best I've had in a while. There's a sign outside of the restaurant that states they have the best fried chicken in town. It's the truth! I also had cabbage, macaroni and cheese, and candied yams. All were pretty flavorful, but the yams were just okay. Kudos to them for using real yams, but I like mine with a glaze. The restaurant was clean, and the server was sweet! Overall, they'll get my business again! 😊
I went there to have dinner with my daughter and I was so glad that I made the right choice of coming here. I ordered baked chicken and the amount of flavor was perfect. The restaurant is clean, the service was awesome!! I recommend this restaurant and will absolutely come back!
The meatloaf was excellent. The catfish was cooked to order, lightly seasoned and tasty. Sides and cornbread were legit.
Very clean and friendly. Service was great. Food was okay. I had fried chicken, collard greens, mashed potatoes and corn with cornbread. Fried chicken was cooked great but it was salty. Almost like they overseasoned the flour and the chicken. Greens were okay had a slight kick to them. The corn was good for canned corn it was seasoned well. The mashed potatoes were flavored well but I asked for gravy and I didn't get any. Overall, it was good. I would like to go back and try their catfish steaks. I didn't see them on the menu inside but when I drove around the building, they had a drive thru menu that has catfish steaks, buffalo, and whiting. Servings were good amounts. Sorry I started eating before I remembered to take a picture.
