Helen's Hot Chicken Smyrna

First time Going There great friendly service was greeted before I got to the door food was hot and great flavors. Will be coming back Again!

I picked up fish sandwiches this evening after work from the Smyrna location. The fish was seasoned and cooked to perfection. They provided great customer service and I only had to wait 10-15 minutes for my order. I was greeted when I arrived and they thanked me on the way out.

Disappointed. My fiance and I tried them out today finally. I got the hot chicken sandwich and fries.she got the reg. chicken and waffles. Hers was fantastic,hence why 3 stars and not 1. Mine on the other hand was hardly edible. The cut of chicken was great and big.unfortunately the hot sauce was not Nashville,it is all vinegar and heat. I asked when placing my order for mayo packs and once I order then was told they were out. 3 bites is all I could do.i ate the fries instead, which were flimsy and lacking seasoning. Once she had finished her meal and was ready to go I assume it was the owner then told me he had some mayo in the back. Too late. The owner and staff were very nice though. The walls were bare and drinks in the online menu were not sold in store. No tea. Pickles were normal which nashville hot chicken standards did not impress.

The mild had a little heat to them to which, was desirable. The flavor was delicious. Piping hot okra as a side was great.
