Wild Plum Tea Room

Loved the ambience. A bucolic setting that's charming and inviting sets you up for a reposing lunch in the countryside. One of the hosts plays instrument live which is probably my favorite part about this place. The hosts are lovely, just like the food which is made with a lot of love and farm fresh produce.

Love, love, LOVE the Wild Plum Tea Room! It is straight out of a novel! Every detail from the decor to the food presentation has been done with maticulous care. The food was delicious and the staff was courteous and friendly. I will absolutely be back! This place is an absolute gem.
A few notes:
1. As listed on their website, due to the fires they are short staffed. Allow time to relax and enjoy. They will get to you as soon as they can.
2. As listed on their website, call to make a reservation at least 2 days in advance. As you will hear on their answering service, they won't can you back unless there is a problem.
3. The parking can be a little confusing. There are 2 driveways near the restaurant. Only one is for customer parking. There is also an over for lot across the road.

The policy states to call 48 hours in advance to reserve a table so we did. We did not wait long to be seated because we arrived right at 11:00 when they opened. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. The staff consisted of a waitress and a cook but that did not stop the food from coming out quick and well prepared. I ordered the salmon burger on lettuce and the dill pea salad. The salmon burger was made with fresh salmon and it was delicious! The pea salad was a great compliment to it. My husband ordered the lobster pie and the tomato bisque soup. He said the pie had huge chunks of lobster and tasted amazing! Also their specialty tea is citrus and great iced. This place is a gem and a hidden treasure. We will be back to try the other daily specials!

Excellent venue! Plant-based options. Everything is delicious! Accommodating staff! Must try their wild plum hot tea!! Blood orange sorbet is a terrific vegan dessert!

Call ahead for reservations. See their website. You may still have a wait. We were there a total of 2 hours for lunch. Food was amazing. Their staff is short but food quality is high.
