Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

This restaurant was highly recommended, so we made it a point to drop by during our vacation. The parking lot was full so I assumed we would be waiting a long time. I was pleasantly surprised. A short wait time, on a weekend day during summer break in Pigeon Forge--amazing. Greeted by very friendly staff, the menu was diverse, and the food was excellent, as well as a great value. Will definitely be back.

Called ahead with a group of 37 and the team there was very accommodating. Kyle, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The crew at Cheddar’s truly exemplifies southern hospitality. Food was also great and reasonably priced!

Great food. Nice portions. Very fair prices. Probably the best food quality/quantity/price in the Smokies. But what sets this restaurant apart from the others is the family friendly staff. Never have we ever observed such as We did at our first ever visit to this establishment. The staff was pleasant as most are but with children they were simply outstanding. The way they talk to them asking likes and dislikes. Trying to find out what they want to eat. Going beyond to make the younger ones happy. Not only that but the kitchen made several mistakes on our plates and the group nearest us...but the waiter and waitress both went beyond to correct all the mistakes. First visit was beyond our expectations...can't wait till we get to visit again. Highly recommended for families on a vacation budget with kids.

The food was really good. The service was not. Had to ask multiple times for things like drink refills, sauce, and to go containers. It took at least 15 min after we turned in payment to get our receipt and card back. I can't imagine every server being as bad as ours though. But as far as the food, it was great and the prices were reasonable.
