Had dinner here the night of our arrival before our day at Dollywood, and it exceeded already high expectations. We were seated immediately and quickly served with drinks and cheddar biscuits, which were some of the best biscuits we’ve ever had (which is saying something for born and raised Southern boys). Dinner order included crab bisque, beef short ribs, rainbow trout, and fried chicken. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the sides were elevated (again, some of the best: broccoli, polenta, green beans, and mashed potatoes & milk gravy each person had ever had). Our waitress Leonora was a true professional, one of the best experiences with waitstaff ever, bringing drink refills before they were half empty and even noticing one of person had taken a lemon from a lemonade to add to their Coke and bringing an extra lemon the next round. She also kept us updated on dinner progress, and checked in just the right amount during/after the meal, getting us the check quickly once we were ready. We will definitely be repeating our patronage on future visits.

This is semi casual dining. We really liked that the hostess asked about food allergies before getting us seated and wrote them down on a card for us to hand to our wait staff. She explained so there would be no cross contamination for that persons meal! We applaud this restaurant for being so aware! The meal came with complimentary cheddar biscuits served before-hand, with butter and red pepper jelly. The bread was fluffy and really good! The jelly was interestingly sweet with a bell pepper taste, not spicy. Great combo!
A family member tried the Buffalo Wings in garlic parm. It was called a sharable for $16. They were out of ranch so it was good that they were wet wings. The family member were brought about 8-10 wings with carrot sticks and celery sticks. They enjoyed them but couldn't finish , leaving 2. They were out of the Cutlery board sharable originally ordered.
My husband and I shared the pickle brine fried chicken $29. Besides salad, it was the cheapest meal. It was served with two pieces of boneless fried thighs splashed with cream gravy, a generous helping of mashed potatoes also splashed with the gravy, and one skinny carrot cut longways in slivers. The presentation was designed cute. We didn't think it would be enough but both walked away full. First off the carrots were literally colder than room temp. We came in June so it wasn't the weather. Despite that they tasted good. The chicken was interesting. Lots of flavor but did not taste like pickle. Well, maybe a little after taste. To me, it was a bit salty but still very good. My spouse loved it. If you are an iced tea drinker like us, this is one of the few places to find it in the area. I believe it was $4.

Lulu provided excellent service and recommendation. She was kind, and a blessing to our family. As guest at the sister resort Dream More, our family was curious to see what Heart Song had to offer for our next visit to the Smokies. We were welcomed by Sean (E&E manager) who went above and beyond his to show us around the lobby and point out features bro the menu and accommodations. We decided at that moment we would rerun for dinner the next night and it did not disappoint. The Margaritas and North meets South flatbread pizzas hit the spot. I highly recommend and ask for Lulu!

I have to agree with another review, the food has a little spin for each. The biscuits have a wonderful crisp but not hard outside, with a delightful addition flavor, I can't put my finger on. The skillet was the star of the show; the brisket was flavorful but the eggs cheese and potatoes were where it was at. I don't eat potatoes all that often for breakfast but the combinations of flavors had me spooning it up. Well worth it alone and I have to thank Amanda for the recommendation. Amanda was wonderful and made my morning with coffee on tap.

I had two meals at Ember and Elm and they were both delicious. The oatmeal was yummy and was a great choice for a light meal. The continental brekkie was also delicious and was packed with all kinds of great options. The menu also includes tons of other options, there just wasn’t enough time to make taste them all. My cousin order the avocado toast and it was delicious and came with two huge pieces of toast loaded with avocado and delicious toppings. My favorite thing about Ember and Elm were the employees. During our first meal we had Noel as our sever and he was very friendly and welcoming. During our second meal we had Amanda as our server and her and the hostess Syd were hysterical. They drew us a picture of a cow we when asked for a cows worth of creamer. Next time I stay at a Dollywood resort I will definitely be visiting for the friendly service and to try other menu items.
