This place could've been a horrible tourist trap, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Old Mill is a huge, busy restaurant with great homemade food at a fair price. Tried the open faced roast beef, the chicken fingers, and the bbq pork which were all outstanding. The service was excellent. The desserts were great too. The place must seat 300 so don't be afraid of the line and give them a try.
Outstanding place to eat. Our family had the chicken strips, fried chicken and the country fried steak. All I can say is you better go hungry because they feed you well. The food was great and the waitress (Amber) was INCREDIBLE. Shopping while you wait and if you want supper get there by 6PM and the wait is 30-40 minutes. After that the wait times get much longer.
Service was very quick and efficient. Food is okay. Menu is very slightly limited but includes appetizer, salad, dinner and dessert. you get a ton of food! Prices are pretty good for the amount of food you get. This is a good place for groups.
We recently visited with a large party of 14, both kids and adults. We had to sit at 2 different round tables in the same area which was not a big deal to us. We only waited about 15-20 min during lunch to be seated. Our waitress was amazing! Very friendly, always kept are drinks filled and very attentive.Food was great! They bring out Fried hush puppies with Maple honey butter spread for the table, yummy!! Tasted like a funnel cake! Chicken n dumplings were amazing! The only thing I could say needed improvement would be to add some different lunch salads for those who don't eat meat and such, there were not allot of options. It was a little pricey but would definitely visit for lunch again!
Fabulous atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and more than any one of us three ladies could eat. Country ham was perfectly prepared. Service was great and prices were very reasonable. Lots of character and history here. I would consider it as a must return!
