This place really is the hidden gem everyone has claimed it to be on the other reviews I read. We took a chance and it was an awesome experience. It's a little pricey and the fishing part went fast as each fish you catch is $18 to prepare. However it was the best fried fish I've ever had. My kids loved the gem mining.

This is truly one of the best eating adventures I've had in a long time. Upon arrival check in at the front counter and arrange for the adventure to begin. We were shown to the fishing hole with a baited hook. It didn't take long to catch a trout. The mate took our fish (3) and prepared them for the kitchen. In 15 minutes from arriving we were eating the best fried trout. Thank you Charlie Ford for having the crew (all family) that is so helpful.

This was a wonderful off the beaten path place. The people were super friendly and helpful. My kids had an amazing experience. The trout that we caught was cooked and it tasted absolutely superb. Just as good as any 3-5 star restaurant that I have had. Would really recommend this place over all the tourist traps in the area.

We loved this hidden gem in a beautiful country setting. We fished, then they cooked them right up for us after and it was delicious. Owner was so nice and we enjoyed chatting with him. I bought an amazing amethyst geode for an awesome price. Loved the dogs. The kid that gave us our bait was very helpful too. Will return when in Tennessee again.

Don't get any fresher than that. We caught em and they cooked them. My daughter's and I had a great time. We did the lemon pepper and blackened trout, very healthy. They were cooked spot on and served with two sides. I personally recommend the cole slaw. Small place and caring staff. A pleasant change from the typical trout restaurant. Highly recommend.
