Grandmothers Kitchen

My husband and I ate here the 1st yr it was open in 1992 while we were out there for our anniversary. It wasn’t even finished yet. The man that built it sat and talked to us the whole time we were there. Several yrs later we went there to eat again and was sad to hear he had a stroke. He came in while we were there then and he Did still remember us. Now it’s a milestone for our trip to go eat there. We haven’t been out there since our kids were small though..... What’s the name of the real estate company just down the rd? We rented a cabin in wears valley from them yrs ago(uncle toms cabin was the name of it)....

Very small place. The food was actually pretty good. The older women who waitress here are very sweet and though they have a tiny space to move around, they get a move on it. Very friendly, family & Christian atmosphere. RECCOMEND!

This place is amazing great food & greasy drinks. The hot chocolate is amazing 10/10 would recommend. The people here also are so nice and cute. I’m vacationing right now and wish they had this place back home.

What a lovely quaint little restaurant that reminds you of your grandma's cooking! The biscuits we're so light and fluffy and the gravy had so much flavor! The pork tenderloin is done just the way it should be and the potatoes were fried perfectly. They weren't greasy at all! Everything was priced reasonably and the food came out quick and hot! My husband and I definitely found us our new little spot when we are visiting!

Very intimate little restaurant with home cooked food. The food isn’t mind blowing but the prices are so cheap that we didn’t really mind. The service was also great. I also wanted to say a big thank you to the lady who came out and apologized when one of the other guests began harassing us. We really appreciated that, even though she didn’t have to!
