Good food. The service was good as well. Friendly staff, and while it was definitely not fast to get the food it was worth the 20 minute wait. The pulled pork was tender, and had good flavor. The grilled chicken was also good, and unlike many restaurants grilled chicken it was still juicy and tender. The various types of sauce were mostly good. The only real complaint I would have is the price. For a family of four we spent right at 65 dollars. Granted we all had plenty of food and were all satisfied, it was still a pricey meal over all. I will probably go again, but may be a while due to the price.

Nice family atmosphere. We went around lunch time and our food took a while to get done but everything was delicious! The beef brisket, mac and cheese, baked beans... all delicious! Great BBQ place.

Had the brisket and ribs. Brisket was super fatty and pretty flavorless and the ribs were the same. I would never recommend smoking ribs with hickory. All you taste is wood, there is no rub, seasoning or flavor profile to either option. To have a 4 star rating, I'm kinda scared to see what 3 star restaurants are serving. I give 3 stars because the waitress was nice to us after waiting 20 minutes for our first table visit and 20 for drinks to come.

One slice of cake is $10! I will say that it's huge and because it's so rich it could easily be split amongst 3-4 people. It would be way too much for 1 person. The ingredients are top notch and you can taste it. The food is expensive and the wait times can be long. Sometimes the owner might seem unfriendly but I think more than anything, he is unwell. It's a unique little hole in the wall, but not for everyone. We've had some really hilarious waitresses straight out of hee haw.... Again, someone who's sophisticated should probably keep on going.

Tony, my family dined with you early yesterday evening. I wanted to commend Cornelius, who was our waiter as well as waiter to the guest behind us. Cornelius was very attentive to our needs and we enjoyed having him serve us! More importantly, I was extremely impressed in his superior customer service to the single gentleman diner behind us. The guest made a remark if the ribs were “fall off the bone” then they were over cooked. Cornelius graciously advised “Yes Sir, they are fall off the bone.” The diner gruffed his displeasure but Cornelius never wavered from his duty of full customer service. Then the guest asked for fresh lemon, and Cornelius graciously advised that you had the lemon packets. More gruffness from the guest and still Cornelius NEVER WAVERED! Cornelius represented himself, you, and the restaurant extremely well despite the harsh attitude from the guest!
