Chef Flavas Restaurant

I wanted to take a moment to clear out my previous review as per my conversation with the owner, They have been more than gracious to make me feel valued as a regular customer. So I will say as far as food goes you're not going to find better food in Bartlett. The place is absolutely delicious. And based on my conversation with the owner, I can appreciate the issues that resulted in my frustration and absolutely don't want to hold that against them. If you're looking for a place that has great food great atmosphere and friendly staff this is the place you want to go. And oh my God the egg rolls, it would be a sin not to try them if you go.

I have not visited the restaurant yet but Chef Flava and his team catered for our wedding day and they did an awesome job. I admit I was nervous but he did not disappoint. They served meatballs & chicken skewers during cocktail hour and everyone raved about the meatballs. Then for the reception dinner they served stuffed salmon, stuffed chicken, potatoes, vegetables, and a salad. Our guest really enjoyed it and so did we. Even after the wedding several people texted asking about his restaurant. I can’t wait to visit the restaurant.

Tried the Shrimp and Grits for breakfast and they were good. Shrimp was definitely seasoned well. Grits were topped with cheese and bacon and had a great taste. Menu stated they have a cream sauce, but I didn't see any sauce mixture on the grits. Overall, they tasted good. I'll definitely be back to try the pasta.

One of my absolute favorite places to eat. If you want high quality food that tastes delicious then this is the spot to hit. Give it one try and I guarantee you'll be back. There's nothing on the menu that won't have you licking your fingers.

Something more than a Wing!

Chef Flavas brings a little bit of Urban Food Fusion to Memphis,Tennessee's hot wing scene.

A little Asian Arabic Afro-Am menu choice may have the typical, regional chicken wing "orderer" at a level of all day choice making, but I was ready off the bat!!

Give me the Shawarma!!! All they (Flavas) gotta do for those the like of moir is add Calzone and Gyros to the menu and they have a loyal customer and dedicated dine-in dude 🤗

Being a newly established (I do not know for how long) eatery, one can give a pass for atmosphere. But the reason why many of us spend money to eat is... for the food.

And it (the catfish, egg rolls [steak and chicken] and aforementioned shawarma was right on point.

Only issue (from the review rubric) was service. Fries were requested to get servi3d crunchy/crispy and it may be that the fry person was a bit over-zealous in getting the ticket completed,as the fri3s had little to no "snap" to them; and the cup for beverage had to get requested versus given at purchase time.

The name Flava... fits. The food was fantastic and one may easily have the ability to see that this Chef means business in Memphis♡♡♡ Voila (No wings please) 🤭
