Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken

Very tasty fried chicken! Spicy but not too much. Started with fried green tomatoes, good potato salad and cole slaw. Try it - you won't regret it.

Excellent spicy chicken. Great balance of heat and bold flavor. Often times with hot chicken the spiciness overwhelms the flavor. Not so with Gus's. Also, service is friendly and fast at this location (unlike downtown), and prices are super cheap.

When in town I somehow manage a visit. Most times I’m staying in the hotel next door.
This is an easy place where your eyes can be bigger than your stomach. Pace yourself and order three tenders and not four.
Everything here is delicious, even the fries. Save room for desert.

I absolutely love their chicken! Wish it was a little cheaper. But, I need it in my life, so I pay it. Good service, just a little slow since it is cooked fresh to be order. Worth the wait if you're not in a rush.
