Great little secret tucked into the older part of Bartlett. Perfectly cooked and seasoned Southern cuisine. The fried chicken livers and fried okra are especially awesome.

The atmosphere is great. Old rustic decor. The food and service is wonderful.

As a former server l seek excellent service when dining out. I visited Sweet Pea's and received not only excellent service but, also outstanding food. Denise was my server and she was most professional. I ordered the fried chicken livers, okra and yams. The livers were fried to perfection and had fried onions with them topped with creamy brown gravy. The okra was delicious and the yams devine. This was a most pleasant experience and l will return soon for the catfish. I recommend this restaurant highly.

Every time, this place is amazing! We can’t get enough. Best southern cooking restaurant around. As if I made it for myself at home.....maybe even better!

Consistent goodness. I have a regular go to here... Fried fish. It's crumbly crispy and flavorful. One of the best. Their veggies are good also! Servers are usually friendly and attentive.

Why 4 stars? I haven't ordered many other entrees off of their menu, but I went the other day and ordered spaghetti. I thought it was horrible! They said some people like it and some don't, but it was very very sweet. Not just with tomatoes, but loads of sugar. I've never had "dessert" spaghetti, and I did not like it. Neither did my dining companion. In fact, she ate a bite or two and left the rest. I think they should at least warn you before you order.
