Germantown Commissary

This restaurant was recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel. It is a quaint little place that packs a punch when it comes to barbecue. We tried several things from the menu and they were all delicious. In a town filled with barbecue places this has to be the best! You have to try the brisket and the banana pudding. There is usually a line and they do a lot of to go orders also. Can’t wait to go back and have some more delicious food!!

This off the beaten path restaurant never disappoints us! The pulled pork and beef brisket are awesome. The homemade desserts are fabulous and take those to go. In a town known for its barbecue the Commissary is always consistent and has been for years.

Always a great meal at this legendary BBQ restaurant. The ribs and brisket are AMAZING. The deviled egg served with each plate is a pleasant treat. Be sure to leave room for dessert....you won't be disappointed!!

Definitely stop by to have a bite here. We had an early flight so lunch for us was about 10/11am but our server was the nicest I've ever had. The food took a little while to come out, especially since it was literally empty, but that's how you know it's fresh. That's a half rack of ribs and even it was too much for me to finish. Highly recommend.

The 2 meat platter was way bigger than I expected. Absolutely marvelous. The authentic atmosphere, the warm hospitality, and the infamous southern cooking all jam packed in a blow-your-mind experience. This place more than lived up to the hype. I wish I had a bigger stomach!
