The Toasted Yolk Cafe- Germantown

Descent portions, friendly staff, taste of meal... Bland. Ordered two and a cake (very simple breakfast) Pancake was the best thing. Eggs no taste, hashbrown casserole was runny and just not good, chicken sausage... hmmm gotta say it again... bland. Almost like some flavorless microwave sausage. Oh and the sangria, wayyyy too much sparkling champagne. It literally tasted like nothing else was in glass but it had the right color and fruits.

The service was outstanding. They did a good job of refreshing the space and removing any sign of the previous restaurant in this space. The food was good. Unfortunately, this is a chain restaurant and it still has that chain food taste. It is worth the visit.

I sat at the bar. Perfect when you are by yourself. The staff extremely nice and attentive. I had the best latte . The classic eggs Benedict was wonderful. Somehow they managed to cook the eggs to perfection. So difficult for other places to get right.

Great service and great food! Do yourself a favor and get an order of the churro donuts!
