901 Grille and Market

Use to go there years ago before moving out of Memphis and finally got the opportunity to return now that I have returned and the look is slightly different and fresher and their more better know however the service is just as personal and the food couldn't be better all this and virtually the same price someone would be missing out on a great experience if they didn't choose 901 grille when they had the opportunity. This is a must stop if you want a quick good lunch. I have only been twice a d the food is good. The staff or owners aren't very personable but that is ok when the food is good.

Stopped in on the way to the children’s museum nearby on a Monday morning just before the lunch rush. Got a couple of burgers which were great - cook shaped the patties to order. We had ordered extra fries and the cook took some extra time to whip up a chicken tender for our son who was just nibbling on our fries. He also brought out a sample of the grilled chicken that they make which was delicious. Definitely going back for the grilled chicken at least!

The 901 claims to have the best burgers and gyros in town. I can’t verify or deny this claim, for I’ve not had every possible gyro or burger in town, but as far as the gyros are concerned, I’ll give the a top 5 placement without hesitation, and think they may certainly lay a claim to the most stuffed with tasty meat gyro. Lots of meat cut off the loaf in thick slices, grilled for a minute, then chopped into bite sized pieces. It’s a lot of really good food for $5.99, and I’ll be back for the burger!

Stopped by Friday night while in Midtown and had a Gyro and Cajun Fries. The young man cooking took his time and made the very best Gyro I have ever had so good that Saturday night I took my wife and daughter. We both had the Gyro gain with Cajun fries and again it was perfect. Our daughter had a homemade shake that was really good. IF YOU ARE IN MIDTOWN GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY
