Another Broken Egg Cafe

My awesome server Jameka recommended the shrimp and grits to me. Now I recommend them to you! Everything was delicious.

The food was fabulous. Great selection of breakfast and more. Had the Marti gras omelette and seared scallop topped omelette with Abe Bloody Mary and Rwanda coffee. Very very tasty. The hour and a half to get our party of 7 into eat was a bit off-putting. Yelp app and in person don't mesh well to stem the wait but if you're a party of 4or less it's not bad. Give them a shot. It's worth it.

****Update**** The owner responded below and I appreciate that they care. I hope that they'll take notice of the amount of reviews that detail the space issue for larger groups. With 7 we were a larger group but by far not the largest I've been party to in a situation like this. But the owner needs to realize it's parties like ours don't want to just eat and run. A larger space would by far assist in the success of the business. Looking forward to another location in a further east location soon. That would help too. ????????????

Great food. It's nice to have different options for breakfast other than the typical toast and eggs. I prefer the Highland location. Even though the Park location is closer, I wont continue eating there. Horrible spot. Too cramped and small. All three times we've waited a ridiculous amount of time to be seated and one of those times was with a reservation! The hostess stammered with the decision to move our registered party of five to a table that actually seated five comfortably because she said she needed the table for a party of 4. And we were at a table for four. That made no sense to me. Then the order came out all wrong. So go, enjoy the food but don't take a large number.

We usually visit the Poplar-Highland location but we were closer to the Park location. The service was great! Camille was an excellent server and super knowledgeable. We enjoyed having cake for breakfast!! The pound cake is dipped in French toast batter and cooked to perfection. Topped with strawberry and whipped cream.
