    I enjoy the bbq sauce. The meat is good, the beans are good. I dont eat pork but when I did the pork sandwich was like butter

    This was a totally authentic Memphis experience. Following the recommendations of friends, I had the pork sandwich with slaw and hot sauce. What an amazing sandwich! I really liked it.

    If you like sweet-ish BBQ sauce, this is your place. Hot links need to soak in sauce for a few minutes; as do the rib tips.

    That said it's entirely local and very basic. Which is good, the glitz just gets in the way of the food!

    The staff was nice & down to earth friendly! I ordered the rib combo with fried pickles and cold slaw! It brought back memories of when my Dad used to BBQ with that smoky delicious flavor! The fried pickles was also so darn good!!!! I will definitely go back. I think I made some new friends!

    Stopped in here back in June while I was on vacation. Didn't want barbecue at a tourist stop. It's always best at neighborhood spots. A&R did not disappoint. The meats were very tender and delicious. The sides were good. Process were really fair for barbecue too. Don't go to the big fancy places in Memphis. Come here.
