We wanted to see what the food was like, given it was highly reviewed, however found that the products were rather overpriced for what you receive.
The tacos (two ordered) was the equivalent to $10AUD overpriced for what was received ..
The tacos themselves were on the okay side, really tasted like tacos you can make at home - nothing too special to write home about.
Cloudy apple sangria was delicious though, and the strawberry was even more fantastic. Unfortunately, the pricing did not live up to what was delivered..
Service was great also.
Very cool place and a nice concept of sharing your food with others. The wait was a little long, even though they didn't seem overly busy, but the price and the taste were both awesome! The staff was also very nice. Go if you have the chance.
The price doesn't match the food. If anything you're paying for the ambiance. The food looks great when it comes out, but it would be better if the flavor matched the presentation. The baked Queso was almost indigestible. Practically had to force the glob of greasy cheese down. I had the lamb sliders with sweet potato fries. Looked beautiful, but the bread was too hard to enjoy and the lamb lacked seasoning. The other person with me had the skewers with rossie potatoes. The skewers were fine, but the potatoes were tough and greasy. Almost as if they'd been sitting for a while. If it wasn't for our waiter and the atmosphere, I would've given it 2 ????s.
Summer did a decent job serving us--a group of 5. Guacamole dip and chips are good starters as the guacamole is made fresh table side. The house margarita with salt should be ordered by the pitcher. Freshly made tacos were good, but took longer than they should have to make.
The food wasn't tasty at all, we did not get full. We ended up going somewhere else because my husband was still hungry. It would have been a 1 but, we had an awesome server and the service great. I can't remember her name but, she was a black young lady, very perky her hair was pink or red and wet wavy like yet, short. Sorry if that's a terrible description. She was great though. If I ever come back it will be for the service but, not the food.
