Central BBQ - Summer

I was told that of anywhere to go for BBQ in this area, this was it. It was very nice, and offered really substantial food quantity and quality.

Maybe because I was led to believe it was a magical wonderland, I didn't come away with exactly the impression I could have, but it's absolutely an acceptable BBQ place and worth getting food from. I can't say I'd suggest a visitor to the city specifically come here unless they really want to see area BBQ.

Absolutely the best service we have received since our stay in Memphis. Our waitress was friendly, and displayed classic Southern charm. She was knowledgable concerning menu items and fan favorites, as well as sharing her personal opinion on menu selections. The sauces were good, and cater to your individual level of spice. The half chicken was cooked to perfection with dry rub seasoning. The pulled chicken was moist and delish. The Carmel cake was a little dry, but the brownie with ice cream soothed the children.

Would give them 10 stars if I could. Ribs and brisket are the best I've ever had. Beans and Mac and cheese is also great. Stop in here every chance I get when in Memphis.

Best ribs in Memphis, hands down! Best hot wings too! If you like spicy, get the Sweet Heat. Great pulled pork & brisket! This is the first place I take my out of town guests.
