Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The people were courteous and kind although I placed a to go order over the phone only to realize I was calling a call center in which the person I talked to could not tell me the location of the store. He asked if I wanted to pay over the phone I said no because I didn't want to pay and it be the wrong location. He was somewhere else in Tennessee. I didn't know the exact street name because I had only visited the store once before. I only knew it was off of Hacks Cross. When I made it there the employees confirmed that it was the street the guy had said. I was Ever so grateful. The employees kindness made up for my experience.

Always very busy. Good service, getting a bit pricey, especially tea at 2.39. My country fried steak was hard and dry 9/30, and gravy looked and was cold and nasty. Brought it home for the dogs. Has always been clean, enjoy the stuff they sell - browse while waiting for a seat. If you go at a prime time, expect to wait for a table and service. Waiters are all polite, just busy.

Good food, prompt service, very busy atmosphere with a reasonable wait time. My only complaint is that the tables should be spaced a bit more. It's aggravating when you can barely move your chair, let alone get up, without bumping the person behind you. However I understand they are maximizing the use of space.
Overall a great place to eat southern style foods and we'll definitely go back.
