They have the best vegetable soup ever. Try with their cornbread muffins. This is a family restaurant that is courteous & friendly. It is what some people call a meat & 2 vegetables. They cook with little salt for those who have high blood pressure. And you will keep coming back.

This place was amazing! Visiting Memphis and this is one of those places you will go again and again! Delicious southern comfort food! As good as grandmas! Will be back again, we ate every bit! Fried green tomatoes and the baked apple are definite repeats!

The Cupboard is a Memphis eating icon. It's a comfortable environment in which to eat comfortable food. Their rolls are phenomenal, especially right out of the oven. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I've eaten there even when they were on the other side of Union avenue. They cook their veggies without any meat or fat. I like that.

Always good. Excellent food, excellent service. You get real food, served hot and at a really good price. Those cornbread muffins are to die for!
