Downtown Soul

I just had an unbelievable lunch here. The meatloaf with corn, mashed potatoes, and hoecake were outstanding! I believe this establishment is a gift to the Memphis community.

This was my first visit. Food was absolutely delicious! The staff is super friendly and made me feel welcome. Meal was prepared exactly as requested. Order was received promptly. Southern hospitality at it’s finest!

Great atmosphere, decor and the staff was welcoming from the door. I've tried several things on the menu since it recently opened and everything was good! Based on the last business that was there, it is a much needed improvement. I work close by and there isnt many other places close by that serve quality soul food. They may need to work on serving and delivery time, but i understand they are new and i think a family business. Congrats on the new business and much luck to your longevity.

Friendly staff. I had some good fried catfish. The side dishes were merely OK. The cabbage was good but the rice was like microwaved instant rice, I should have tried the okra
