Ecco on Overton Park

I absolutely love this restaurant. I ran across it in a haste to find something suitable to eat during my lunch break and behold one of the best kept secrets in Memphis. I came right in time because the restaurant closes at 2pm and re-opens later in the evening. I decided to the Pasta Bolognese and words can't seem to express the explosion that occurred on my taste buds. The ingredients were so fresh I can't begin to rant about the freshness of the dish. The portions are very nice and filling. I am looking forward to returning to Ecco with friends I love the location as well!

The ambiance is fantastic but the food is rather bland and pricey. I don't mind paying a higher price for food if it is quality and tastes fantastic. I ordered seafood pasta, so maybe that was my mistake. The server was forgetful as my friends and I had to remind her to bring items we requested. Overall, not great but not terrible.

Excellent place with our group. Plate sharing at its best. Scallops I don’t usually like but these were perfect. Tender and full of flavor. Other highlights chorizo meatballs and spicy potatoes. Cheesecake light and creamy. Service good. Back room was a little warm at times when the door kept opening but wasn’t uncomfortable. Atmosphere was great. Definitely a place to return to. Nearly perfect which is a five ⭐️
