Wow! I am so glad that I came here for dinner. It came highly recommended by the front desk of my hotel. Everything was absolutely delicious and everyone was so friendly. I enjoy the blackened salom with some sides. There are so many other options, I definitely will be back to try more.
I stopped in here while I was in Memphis on a recommendation of my tattoo artist who also does a little art for the restaurant. When I walked in, I felt so welcome with the warm and caring greeting I received. As I waited for my food later, I noticed that the warm welcome was both common and incredibly genuine. I love it.
When I got my food, I loved this little place even more. From the warmth of the owner to the beauty of thr historic building to the fresh and delicious food. I highly recommend it and will be back next time I'm in Memphis!
The food is amazing! Personal touch when the owner comes over and makes sure you enjoy the food and engage in great conversation. Each time we drive through Memphis we make time to stop and eat at this great restaurant. Well worth the stop, you will not be disappointed.
Popped by close to closing time on our last night in Memphis. The gentlemen treated us like royalty despite being the only 2 guests in the place. Every.Single.Thing. was delectable! My catfish was perfectly seasoned and light. The greens were tasty and not overpowering. Just delicious food. But what really made our experience great was the total hospitality of the owner and co-owner. We loved getting Memphis history and chatting with them for over an hour after we finished eating. We look forward to returning on our next visit!
Last day in Memphis so had to have some local cuisine for lunch. Found Memphis Soul just a block away from the Civil Rights Museum and it didn't disappoint! Got the fried chicken breast, fried okra and Mac cheese. The chicken breast was huge, moist, tender and crunchy. The okra was done just right and the Mac cheese had a great cheesy flavor! Will definitely return again the next time I am in Memphis.
