Great hot juicy charbroiled burger and hot fries (seasoned) I totally will be returning for another lunch break!
I love Wimpy's burgers and fries. My favorite is the black bean burgers and my daughter loves the chicken strips. The fries are too seasoned for me but that's easily fixed and the lemonade is the best in midtown. The staff is so cute and friendly and the store is always clean. You will not be disappointed in the food, the environment and the customers. It's such a laid back family type place and the prices are very fair. So eat, have a conversation, watch a little TV and enjoy.
Yooooo!!! This place is legit!!! Food is cooked to order. It was piping HOT!! It's like you build your own burger... All the start you off with is meat and bread, you add the toppings.
My husband had: signature Double with grilled green and Cherry peppers, grilled onions, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. He added chili cheese to his fries.
I had: signature Double with lettuce, spicy mustard, grilled onions and green peppers and two slices of American cheese. I had plain battered fries. Next time I'm adding pickles. Lol!
Good fresh hamburger. A little heavy on the salt. Hot fries. Can't wait to try other menu items.
It was our first visit and we found the food good. The short wait time was acceptable as we watched the waitstaff assemble our order. We noticed that the front counter by the register was very greasy as was our dining table. The onion rings were good as were the sweet potato fries. There was no
explanation of what constituted “a fries combo” so we inquired and were told it was a combo of fries and a drink. There was also
no explanation about the praline sauce that was delivered w/the sweet potato fries and again we had to ask a server. Since they’ve only been open for business a short time, it appears they still have a few kinks to work out.
