Great brisket & baked beans!! Enjoyed the new jalapeno hush puppies. Chicken was disappointing unless it was coated in BBQ sauce. Potato salad needed salt & possibly something else - it was really bland. Yeast roll was yummy but the side that was down in the styro container was mush & we only had a 7 minute drive home. Better barbecue is over 35 minutes away so we'll be back - probably to try the ribs on a Friday or Saturday night (the only days they offer them).
Tea is great, their brisket is tender, the sauce is complex, flavorful and has the PERFECT amount of kick. Not too much, not too little. Get the amazing Brunswick stew while you can! Its seasonal! Best Brunswick stew I've ever had, I buy it by the quart!
Bristol BBQ have some of the best BBQ food. I go there religious everytime I go to Bristol. I recommend you to check them out if you go to Bristol. The prices are decent too.
I stopped by for the 1st time on Wednesday night to try Bristol BBQ and was extremely pleased. The gentleman that waited on me took his time to explain what I had ordered and what came on it. It was the best loaded tots I have ever had. Their bbq sauce and meat was absolutely delicious!
We got the family 4 pack and it was delicious! A pound of shredded barbecue pork (or chicken) 4 huge kaiser rolls, a good sized portion (pint) of 3 different sides... we got macaroni & cheese (tasted like velveeta kind of), coleslaw (sweet, not mayo based for those interested), green beans (probably canned but unlike any I've had before with bits of bacon mixed in), and a container of barbecue sauce (it seemed like a bottled brand and not homemade). It was all delicious though! I loved that the pork wasn't saturated in barbecue sauce and that you could add as much (or as little) as you wanted. The rolls were a little disappointing but they would have made great barbecue sandwich rolls, which is probably the reason they give them. I'd definitely go back! The pork was smoky and incredible! Just thinking of it makes me want to go back for more! ????????????????????????????????
