China Cottage Hendersonville

Finally a good go-to Chinese restaurant in Hendersonville! Seriously, it's actually good and not soaked in oil.

This is their second location, I have been a customer of their original location for years and was excited to get a location in my neighborhood. I went late afternoon on a Tuesday and was seated immediately. I asked that my appetizer (spring roll) be served with my entree (chicken noodle soup). However, that didn't happen, but that's okay. What disappointed me was that all the beautiful veggies they added to the soup were still raw I'm the center and I didn't have time to have the soup remade. I still enjoyed the spring roll, sauce and main ingredients and will most likely order this again in the future. They opened recently and may still be working things out. Nothing about this visit will keep me from going back or recommending them to friends. If you need to warm up, get the hot green tea, but let it steep on the table for a few minutes before pouring. Instant cozy warm feels.

Great service and one of the better Chinese restaurants around. They have plenty of selections to choose on the menu. Seating is slightly limited, however they seem to be able to navigate through the busier times. I’m very thankful for this location getting added to the Hendersonville area!
