Hana Sushi

Very quaint neighborhood sushi and cooked Japanese food. We usually only order sashimi and sushi here and we are always pleased. Very nice staff, we go for the food, the atmosphere is comfortable but not trendy or upscale.

Hana has come back around to what it was when my wife and I ate there a decade ago.
When Hana first opened, it was owned by a pretty awesome married couple from Japan via NYC named Crystal and Benson.
Crystal handled the front of the house, Benson the back.
The food and service was unbelievable.
Truly.
Sadly, after a while they decided to sell and move back to NYC.
When they did, the new owners almost ran it into the ground.
The service was fine, but the food plummeted. ????
After trying several times, we simply quit going for about 6 years.
We tried it again last year, found it had improved dramatically and tonight, were both really enjoyed it!
I ordered the 12 piece sashimi, it was fantastic. (There was a pretty dope blue LED light in a fake ice cube in with the other ice that was a neat touch.)
-They still even have the big fish tank that my now 14 y/o son used to gaze at as a 4 y/o. ????

Really, REALLY happy to see this place doing well again.

Best sushi in the area! fresh and really well made. Lovely staff and approachable prices. They have a lovely Poke bowl that comes stuffed with great options and sauce. The hibachi dinner box is really filling and comes with 6 california rolls, veggies. rice, protein, and soup or salad. The environment is calm and casual as it is in a strip mall. The seating is comfortable.
