So, so good! I told my husband that this is the best fried chicken I have ever had! I ordered the leg quarter - hot. I could have gone medium but the flavor and the crispy skin were both outstanding! I also got the coleslaw (which was a great option between spicy chicken bites) and the mac and cheese - both were amazing. Bottom line - if you are thinking about chicken go here!

Loved it and the owner! He was so funny! I really loved the atmosphere. It really made me feel I was back in my home town, Memphis, with how personable everyone was in the dining room. It was all laughing and fun with the guests as well as the owner. He was calling a gentleman by name, which I always love to hear. Loved how involved he was in the dining room while running the kitchen alone! Thanks for the great food and atmosphere! Really made me feel at home!

Amazing! The chicken has so much flavor. The medium is HOT! Be careful but it’s just so good you can’t stop eating. Owner works by himself. Order your food and have a seat or call in and pick up (Best option). He doesn’t like to talk but He’s a nice guy once you get to know him..you’ll see! But the food is by far the best hot chicken in the Nashville area

This place is the real deal. Best chicken, brisket, and Mac and Cheese I've eaten... ever! Get a gallon of tea too. It's got a touch of real peach and is gently sweet. So good.

One last thing: He's in there cooking himself and it gets busy. If he tells you to wait, be patient and wait. It takes time to make good things and he is a master at what he does.

Absolutely recommend this place and will come from PA again. Family loved it!

Spicy, crunchy, perfectly cooked fried chicken.
I had the X-Hot, the spice level was to my liking, I will be giving the XX-Hot a try next time.

Let's address the elephant in the room. Mr. Moore might not be the most cheerful person around, maybe even rough and tough, but he is certainly not rude like some of the reviews mentioned. He is a kind and thoughtful man that know how to make good food. Big teddy bear.

People, waiting in line for 45 minutes is not a reason to one star an establishment. On the contrary, it's a sign that you're about to have some good cooking.

Even though Prince's might still reign supreme Moore's sure does give it a run for its money
We will definitely be back. Thank you for the good food
