(June 8, 2017, 2:35 am)This is the best barbecue in Tennessee. I've found most of the so called top, old time Memphas barbecue restaurants have lost their way, and are living on their names. At Mean Gene's they do everything the traditional way and they've been in the same location for years. I think because many years of winning competition they know what it takes to cook good meat. If you want to go to a relaxing family restaurant with great food, Mean Gene's is a must go to barbecue restaurant.
