First Watch - University Commons

Nice place for breakfast. Lots of healthy choices which was a nice switch from all the fried egg and bacon places. A little higher on price but service was good and good was terrific. We'd definitely make the drive back down. The eggs Benedict were wonderful. My husband had the salmon variety and loved them. Mine had bacon and tomato and were fantastic

This place is suffering from being too popular. Both times I've visited there have been problems including deal breakers like cold breakfast food and poor service. Servers themselves have been great people but when customers seated 20 minutes after you've ordered get food before you....

I pulled up very tired and ready for a good meal at 6:45am. I was very sad to see that sign OPEN 7am. So I was walking over to Starbucks to hang out and that’s when Cheryl open the doors with that friendly smile waving me in. This made my morning. Sat me down got my order and it was out so quick. I was the first one there of course. The food was so fresh and delicious. I can’t thank Cheryl enough to stepping in and taking care of me. I love my hometown.

First Watch serves delicious food -- breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They open daily at 7 AM, which allows plenty of time to have a bite with some freshly brewed coffee before the morning "traffic rush" hits. I recommend their Million Dollar Bacon.

They never disappoint. There is a regular menu, but they also have seasonal specials which meet the standard of creativity & sophistication you expect from this establishment. My favorites are the Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos and the Chickichanga. Both have a great blend of flavors prepared with fresh ingredients. Eggs are always cooked correctly. My only complaint about the food is that their fruit bowl doesn't always have season appropriate & fully ripe fruit. Prepare to wait for a table because they are always crowded. Not the place to go for intimate conversation as it is pretty loud inside. Food is delightful.
