Shamrock Beverage & Tobacco

The Shamrock was just mediocre. I went for an ice cream cone the other day and have some constructive feedback for the owner or manager.

First of all, the ice cream is Hershey's, and it's delicious, so I appreciate them serving a quality product. The staff were also friendly.

I would recommend posting the ice cream flavors menu near or next to the existing menu sign that's on the wall prior to the drive thru window. The ice cream menu is currently at the drive thru window only, so having it farther back, where the main menu sign is, will only expedite the ordering process -- this not only benefits the customer, but it translates into more customer volume.

Lastly, my order was messed up. I asked for a waffle cone, but was instead given a cake cone that was soft and stale. Two different people took my order at the window and it still got messed up. Neither person wrote it down and I was asked twice what I ordered.

I will give The Shamrock another chance in the future. I'm not sure when, but I will.

Nice staff, clean store, good food, a little pricey but over all great little store. They have about everything. Coffee, food, soda/pop, cigerettes ect.

Best ice cream in the city. Went there for a special treat as a kid with my mom. Now, I take my in kids. Staple in Johnson City

This johnson city corner store had a great selection of tobacco pipes. The store is small and gets crowded easily. The staff are friendly but the owner is a bit of an old watch dog pushy and rushy. We would have bought more but he seemed so worried we were going to take something just rushed our sell to get us out and not patient waiting on us.

Nice little corner stop and shop. They offer a wide variety of things to purchase. Always had friendly and helpful customer service when visiting.
