I took some out-of-town guests there for dinner, and we all were extremely pleased. The Brisket tacos were out of this world delicious. The sweet onion, lime caviar, and cotija cheese made a magnificent combination of flavors. And the sweet potato tots were SOOOO good! I give them 10 stars!
I was fiending for barbqueue and got what I came for. Got the Brisket Melt I think it was called, and the brisket taco and both were crazy meaty and flavorful. A bit heavy and oily but one does not go to a bbq looking for greens. Definitely coming again.
Just noticed this new little BBQ place and gave it a try. Stopped in before lunch planning to get something small and test the waters. I got the dirty fries and a side of collards. I was blown away with how good it all was. I'm from Oklahoma originally and grew up on Texas style BBQ and good Mexican food. This was a great combo of both. I'm excited to come back when the bar is open to have a few with my buddies.
this is a fantastic barbecue! the ribs and brisket were some of the best I've had since moving here. however, the sides were just fantastic!! sweet plantains and collard greens fabulous. the baked beans were a food group unto itself!!! reasonably priced. will be making a weekly stop there
Man, the smash burger here is amazing. The dirty fries are amazing as well. The brisket is juicy and flavorful
The brisket and sauces were great, definitely recommend the house sauce and the vinegar sauce. The sides were great, get the collards, the beans are great and the street corn as well. Service was a little frantic but with only one server, they did pretty good. The banana pudding was just okay, very thick crust of graham cracker which I didn't particularly enjoy. I do think this restaurant will be successful, as it is different Texas style BBQ than what is available on this side of town.
