Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

The food there is great, my son loves there ribs and fries with steamed broccoli. They'd get 5 stars if they would fix the chips for salsa in a gluten free fryer. My son is gluten free and can't have chips and salsa there yet.

The service is excellent, and the food is just as good. The servers here are more positive and welcoming than most places I've been to. They always go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and happy with your experience. I always leave in a great mood.

Every time we've driven by Cheddar's, the parking lot was packed. So, today we finally had a chance to try it! It was delicious! My only regret is that I was too full for dessert. I enjoyed the best Country Fried Steak I've had in years with real mashed potatoes & flavorful green beans. My husband had a salad served with chunky homemade blue cheese dressing and a warm, flaky croissant before he enjoyed the Chicken Pot Pie. We will definitely go back! With a pub-style, wood-paneled interior, and a varied menu that's sure to please everyone, this place is a hit! Now our car will be in the parking lot, too!

Cheddar's is the go-to place to eat out in this part of Johnson City it seems. It's always packed, even on a random weeknight. With that said, there's a good reason why it's so busy. The food is simple but delicious, the staff are all very friendly and accommodating, and the interior/exterior are always clean. It's also relatively cheap, especially compared to other restaurants in the area.
