Absolutely awesome, tasty, unusually large assortment of perfectly prepared meats and fowl of all types - you definitely will not go away hungry, in fact you’ll be happily stuffed! Look at the menu, the variety is amazing & the quality is great.

They offer a reduced rate for children but NOT for seniors. My husband and I could not begin to eat enough to justify the price regardless of quality. We had only the salad bar ($25 each). The choices were all very good and fresh. The place was clean and service was good. The meat we saw being served appeared appetizing but we didn’t have any of it. Without a reduced price for seniors, we won’t go back. However, if you have a large appetite and large bank account, this is your place!

Went for lunch. Restaurant was clean. Salad bar was well supplied & delicious. Meat selection was limited for lunch & a couple options were overcooked & dried out. Our server was new - only her 3rd day. She explained she had only 1 day of training there but 5 years of serving experience. It didn't show!! She actually scolded us & then proceeded to argue with us about the plates. I'm not sure I'll be back. It's only an hour to Asheville!!

Hi. My wife and I tried Rio de Brazil for the first time this evening. The quality, taste and selection were exceptional. The atmosphere was very friendly and professional. It was easily one of the best dining experiences I have had in my life coming from a lifetime in the restaurant business. I found myself several times during the meal shaking my head I'm amazement at how good this good really was. My one complaint would be when we were asked if we would like dessert. We asked if we allowed to take it to go. The waitress should have been perceptive enough to realize by us asking that question that we assumed the dessert was included in the all you can eat price as most establishments that offer all you can eat do not allow food to be taken out. We were told yes of course and were given two desserts in take out cartons. When we looked at our receipt we were charged $14.00 extra for two desserts. $7.00 x 2.
This should be disclosed to the guest ahead of time so it will be understood that this is in fact an additional charge and give them an opportunity to accept this additional charge or decline....
