This is a nice place to eat but personally believe the spices could have been a bit more robust. Food was good but lacked pizzaz. Most Italian specialty restaurants offer freshly grated Parmesan cheese. The offered cheese was ground and likely from the shaker you can get from your local supermarket. Wine selection did not include Lambrusco which is a typical Italian wine. Many varieties were NOT available in a bottle. Good but not great. This is a drive from the Lebanon area and I was hoping for a bit better.
Came in for lunch and had a good experience. We purchased from the lunch menu and the price was definitely right. My pork was slightly over cooked but the sides and the service were spot on. Really enjoyed the mushrooms and mashed potatoes.
Pleasant Surprise! We are originally from Chicago and have done a fare bit of traveling so know what good Italian food tastes like. We thought it was sorely lacking in the Nashville area until we came to this place. Solid wine selection, great fresh tasting pasta that wasn't overdone and the best Tiramisu my wife and I have had. Atmosphere was also good. We had a great conversation with one of the managers (John, I think) who came over and checked on us. He was brought in from New Jersey and definitely knew what it takes to prepare good Italian food! Would encourage everyone to try it except for those who will complain about the flavors and try to bring it down to Olive Garden-level blandness :)
The food was fabulous! Nice atmosphere. We made reservations on Open Table and got right in upon arrival. Our server was charming. It was our anniversary...we were given a free dessert!
Nice decor, friendly staff. Helpful server (Ashley) and average Italian food. 5-layer lasagna was certainly delicious but not better than other big chains. It was inexpensive as the early bird special. My wife had the Garden Lasagna. Also good but a bit odd with the sweet butternut squash and broccoli. The pineapple juice is from a can or bottle, not fresh. Even the water was disappointing, tap with a distinct chlorine aftertaste. Overall, good but not worth a return visit.
