I really thought about my review before I posted it because I've loved what this company has done with their establishments and how well they treat their employees. My hope is that it's constructive. This was my third visit to Scouts. I went on opening night years ago and loved it, then again 2 years ago (which was a terrific experience) and my last visit was last Friday which was really disappointing. The staff was friendly and the menu is great, but the execution was subpar. I brought my restaurant industry friend that has opened up restaurants all across the globe and we sampled many things to get a good feel on their offerings. First let me start with the positive. The cocktail we ordered was perfect and the beer selection is strong. Out of the 4 dishes we sampled, the trout was prepared well and didn't disappoint. The other three however were uninspired. We ordered the poke salad, and the entire thing was covered and drowning in sauce where you couldn't even see the beautiful raw fish. The rice was so undercooked it was crunchy. The arugula was very fresh and paired great with other flavors though. The Bolognese pizza had potential but it came out way overcooked and dried out. I was really surprised they let it out of the kitchen. Silver lining was I added fresh mozzarella the next day and crisped the bottoms with a cast iron and it was excellent leftovers. Next up was the Cuban sandwich which I have nothing positive to say about. The pork was dry and over seasoned, there was no sauce or mustard to excite the flavors and the bread tasted old. It was just bad. We sat outside and the night sky was great, but it was a disappointing experience, especially for the price.

Great location and food. Service is below average. Been here 3-4 times with my wife and friends. Our group always laughs because the staff seems annoyed that we came there. Sat at the bar once. The bar staff was great!

We stopped in Scout's Pub for lunch while on vacation (from PA). Had the Margarita pizzas and pub fries. It was excellent. Service was awesome. To all of you reading this. This is a great Pub to eat and drink.

I had the stuffed French toast which was basically deep fried and tasted like funnel cake. It was good but really sweet. Enjoyed the fries but overall nothing exciting. I like the location and the food was pretty to look at.
