The Country Boy Restaurant

I loved the Country Boy Restaurant, and will definitely return on the future. The Fried Green Tomatoes, and the Deep-fried Pickle Chips were the best I have ever had. The home-made potato chips were very good. The BLT maybe could have used another slice of bacon, but then what BLT couldn't benefit from another slice of bacon? The service was very friendly and prompt.

We stopped by The Country Boy for some lunch and was blown away by the flavors and fantastic service! The country fried steak was the best I've ever had...and I have had a few over the years. The biscuits might be the best Nashville has to offer! Do yourself a favor and go try it for yourself!

My wife and I used to go here once a week before we moved. Definitely a place where you get to know the folks working there, and we know them all by name. Great people. Breakfast food is traditional southern style: eggs, bacon, home fries (which are awesome), grits, pancakes, etc. The lunch and dinner selection is pretty good as well. The sandwiches are very good and the dinners are great too. Gets a bit crowded on weekends when people come out to the fork on sunny days, so go early!

This place was suggested by our air b&b host and we are glad we stopped here for breakfast. The backwoods Bennie was delicious and my wife really really loved the grits I was a big fan of the cheesy hash browns I had. We also got a pancake which was big enough to share with our meals. I will definitely be back next time we are in Franklin!
