For a brunch spot on Sunday we thought the food was rather good. Service was very average and pricing was okay. Rather enjoyed the Farmer's Benedict.

Great little place with good atmosphere. Karissa the bartender/server was exceptional. Although she had 5 parties at the bar as well as a few tables she was extremely efficient as well as knowledgeable/helpful with the menu.

Food definitely comes with a "flair" but is well worth a visit. I will definitely be returning!

In had some fish tacos and my date had the dirty bird openfaced. Wow! Delicious! Better than usual beer choices. Full bar. Our waitress Laura was the best! We love this place and we will be back!

We had a great experience with a Carter as our waiter tonight! Carter was seriously one of THE best waiters I have ever had. Our meals were delicious, as well. Being greated by the manager toward the end of our meal was another nice touch. We definitely had a great time tonight. Thank you, 55 South!

Atmosphere is great. Service was great. We had the breakfast tacos, hot chicken, and the breakfast quiche. Tacos were good. The chicken was hot, but not very flavorful. Too used to Prince's Hot Chicken and Hattie B's I guess. The quiche was overcooked as were the fries. The coleslaw tasted like how a new plastic toy on Christmas smells. We had the deviled eggs as an appetizer. They were cold and had no flavor. I would recommend the owner go try the deviled eggs at Brick Tops or the fried deviled eggs at Ten Sixteen in East Nashville.
55 South has a lot of potential, but it has the culinary skills of a Home Ec class.
