“Excellent food and wow, what a great staff. The gal who waited on us took us through the menu, having not been there before. We ordered 3 pizzas. Normal cheese and pepperoni, a 5 cheese and tomato, and a BBQ. The best was the BBQ one. Man, it had cheese, beans, onions, chicken, and who knows what else. The 5 cheese tomato was second, but needed a lot of salt for some reason. The traditional cheese and pepperoni was third. As it sounds; it was a normal pizza. You can get thin crust or hand tossed. We tried each and found both to be good.”

“In the area for a hockey tournament. Decided to try Mexicali Grill. We arrived at 11am, the first customers of the day. The restaurant and the bathroom was very clean. The decor was authentic as was the food. The service was great, we practiced our Spanish with the gentleman waiter. The food was Great! It was flavorful and authentic. I highly recommend this place. The experience greatly surpassed our expectations! I had the chimichanga off the lunch menu( I should have taken a picture of it). Chips were delicious served with three bowls of salsa then refilled without asking. Also the price was beyond reasonable. Seemed family owned.”

“David was a fantastic waiter for our group of four last night. We all shared the queso appetizer, sourdough bread and carrot cake for dessert. The warm cream cheese icing and spice in the cake made for a terrific way to bring in fall! My entree was the steak and fries except that I enjoyed a baked potato instead. The steak was cooked just right at medium rare and tasty. We were over full by dinner but I am also glad David talked us into the Carrot Cake.”
