Uncle Pete's Truck Stop

We had the BBQ plate with coleslaw fries and cornbread along with sweet tea of course! Everything was great! Friendly service. Just like home. We'll be back next time by.
The parking lot is kinda rough and the place looks run down on the outside but the food is definitely worth stopping for!!! Don't judge a book by it's cover.

Great place to park and grab a nice southern home cook meal.

I had Mama's Choice breakfast. Three eggs over medium. Home fries. Slab of center cut Country Ham. Biscuits smothered in milk gravy and a bowl of steaming hot grits. A real down to earth country breakfast. Great service. Leslie never let my coffee cup get cold. She checked on us early and often. They serve breakfast all day. I will be going back to try lunch and dinner menu as well. Noticed fried catfish dinner that looked promising........the food was like down home cooking. I really enjoyed it.

Im sure this place was amazing in its Day, but it may almost be sunset! Service was nothing to brag about...the food was warm at best. Id probably give it another try, just to make sure If Id ever spend more money here. The decor was probably the Most Interesting part of the visit.

This place is by far the best truck stop for me. Has character and a nice change from all the others. Loved the history with this establishment. The coffee mug collection is amazing. All the Military memorabilia is really nice. The food was absolutely delicious. My guy, got the All you can eat Catfish and I ordered the Corn beef hash with eggs. The waitress was very attentive and so friendly. Will definitely stop again on the way through even if it is out of the way.
